Sometimes I just get in the mood to sit down and want to quilt. I especially felt that way after painting so many signs and pieces of furniture. I just wanted a simple quilt, nothing fancy, and that is what I did. After crazy quilting it by hand, I tea-dyed the whole quilt to age it.
I'm not sure what it is about an old quilt with me. I don't ever like to make my quilts look bright and fresh. They always need to look like they've been loved for years.
