Yellow Ware Bowls and a Stoneware Crock

Hubby bought me some yellow ware bowls and an old crock. I really like the brown striped bowl.

The crock stands about 10.5" high.

As I read about yellow ware, I learned that some pieces were made with a lead glaze.  My bowls will not be holding any food, but maybe they can hold a collection of cookie cutters n such.

I like to imagine the simple homes that these items may have been a part of in their glory days and the people that once used them.
