Annie Sloans to the Rescue...Again

My bathroom needed a little brightening up.  The brown striped curtain had to go considering I splashed bleach all over it and a lighter curtain was needed.  I bought a cute white curtain on sale at Khols.  Plus I used a gift card, so it was basically given to me :)  I knew with this pristine white curtain, my Rubbed Bronze rod and rings that had gone rusty would bleed onto the curtain.  I didn't want to have to buy a new rod and rings, so out came Annie Sloans Old White.
I did a total of two coats, and of course I wanted to use dark wax with the clear.  I do have a picture frame and shelf in my bathroom that matches.  I am so very thankful at what a little transformation with paint can do to a room.
 So light and so airy....

  1. I'm not the biggest fan of chalk paint, but I must confess it stays on anything and saves so many situations! I like the light curtain and whitened rod, it makes the room so serene.

  2. The difference between you and me: you painted the rod and rings to match the curtain and I would have stained the curtain to match the rusty rod!
